Agencia Detonante de Emociones, which translates to ‘Emotion Detonator’, has increased by leaps and bounds during the last seven years since its foundation in 2002. Today, ADE’s staff is composed of 45 permanent members who work passionately and join their creative skills in order to achieve the best results for their clients.  Their emphasis on inventing concepts and adverts based on solid and palpable wisdom as opposed to creation ex nihilo, has given them the firm foundations to grow into a multitalented, international agency.

Amongst many others, the President of ADE, María Mercedes Ponce de León, and Nacho Martínez, Creative Director, have contributed a great part to the success that ADE has been able to record during the past seven years. After completing a postgraduate in journalism, María obtained 26 years of experience in advertising. Besides that, María has worked as a consultant for the UN and the Ministry of Agriculture.

As former creative vice-president for JWT and Y&R, Nacho Martínez has handled international accounts such as Nestlé, Ford and Unilever, and several Colombian accounts including Banco de Bogotá and Telecom. He received over 200 awards and has been invited as a panel member at various international advertising festivals.

ADE as a full service advertising agency also includes the specialised division ‘Equilibrium’ which is dedicated to medical communication solutions. Equilibrium was brought into being after ADE recognised and understood the need for a better communication representation of the often neglected medical sector. With their help, health and well-being turn into something concrete, attractive, easy to understand and obtain to the clients.

Their client base boasts names such as Subaru, Lipton, Páginas Amarillas and Unilever, and spans varied sectors such as hospitality, gastronomy and electronics. With their focus on the importance of local customs and audiences, ADE made history last year creating the 60th anniversary campaign for Unilever’s ‘Fruco’, described as one of Colombia’s most emblematic brands. Last year also saw ADE winning the account for KitchenAid, a brand owned by Fortune 500 company Whirlpool.
